Windows 10?
 

Bonjourno,
Are our good users here now switching to windows 10 for their stealth accounts, I'm still on 7 but have heard that 10 can cause issues when switching profile users - has anyone run into any issues

Yes, I did.

My Kodak printer stopped working properly when I switched to Windows 10 on my main PC (not used for stealth). I had to switch back.

I still use Windows 7 on my laptops that I use for stealth and will continue to do so without upgrading.

Win 10 is faster than Win 7, but collects tons of info about you (can be switched off, but still...), and does not have any 100% killer features compared to Win 7 / 8.1. I do not see why to upgrade, except that dirty trick when HW manufacturers stop offering drivers for "old" OS.

If you value your Privacy, never go windows 10, if you go for speed, yes windows 10

Seems like switching Windows is like... Like leaving your girlfriend because you think you can get something better and a feeling of "But.. But I deserve".
You then go out and hook up with a lady, take her back, do the biz, wake up next morning and literally find out that she is indeed a he and you have every possible STD available... And you are blind from one eye.

Thats how I feel every time new Windows comes out. If I could, I would stay Windows XP till I die, **** everything else that they provide.

It used to be really simple- Skip every other version:
You have Windows 95, skip NT and wait for 98.
You have Windows 98, skip 2000, wait for XP.
You have Windows XP, skip Vista, wait for Windows 7.
You have Windows 7, skip Windows.... Wait for...

That what it used to be like. Now its:
You have Windows XP, you have two options:
a)Wait for 15 years, maybe they'll produce something good.
b)Wait forever, never let go.
c)Walk into an Apple shop.

Will not be switching to Win10 anytime soon.
Maybe after they release the first service pack - if I hear good things.
Until then theres no real reason to bother going through it and no real reason to leave Win7 - if it aint broken dont try to fix it.

Was thinking about getting a windows 8 tablet, I heard you can run full versions of dream weaver and photoshop and hookup a 1 tg harddrive to them

Windows XP works on an old laptop for me still - other comps running windows 7 - I havent gone to to 10 yet

VMware and xp is KING for pure ebay/amazon sales. Takes a little integration but once you grasp it and have things set up, killer setup for multiple accounts.

Yes, just wipe the HDD and install Windows 8 or 7 better.

Windows 7 Ulimate is the best for windows imo, Xp pro is good for VM's due to its small size

You guys really trust an OS on a torrent site with all those hidden key loggers on there? I mean this your computer with all your bank info, PayPal info etc. I would actually just go with a Mac OS because u can just dl it directly from Apple, so u only Apple can sniff ur every move, not those hackers lol. Windows is ok too, but still.
