Buying on one, selling on another...

First, let me say how sorry I am if the answer to this is blindingly obvious.

If I purchase specific items with my real account from various international eBay sites as well as .co.uk and then relist the exact same items with my Stealth, is there a link?

Could they be like 'Oh, but this other account just bought those exact same items a week ago. This MUST be the same person. BAN!'?

I'm asking as these items are not very common at all. In fact, they're quite sought after and hard to find. It's not like jewellery beads from China that everybody seems to be selling!

Ta!

I don't think it would be a problem, although I would not use their descriptions or pictures.

I don't think eBay has a problem with this. I mean, if I find an item on eBay that goes for $5,000 and I am able to pick it up for $2,000, it is not like I have done anything wrong. You could even buy it an re-sell it on the same account.

Maybe someone will chime in who has more experience with this.

^Thanks.
I will of course be taking my own pictures and using my own wording.

I was just wondering if 'Account Y' buys 'Product A' and then 'Account X' sells exact same 'Product A', would they link the accounts and figure out that both are operated by the same person.

So long as you take your own new pictures that wont cause any issues :)

Just make sure you follow all other stealth methods

It depends. If for example you are selling collectibles and they are limited editions showing 23/500 for example on the base or certificate then it could be an issue, especially if any of your accounts have had issues in the past.

Tend to agree with you.

A manual review of accounts could see someone detect similarities.
Outcome maybe less than nice.

Exclusive collectible items or numbered sets aside, Elisek if you take your own photos and do your own listings, you should be fine
