eBay detecting phone number
 

I have a mobile number registered under a healthy stealth account but it is my main number I use in everyday life. I surf eBay on the phone but never sign into my buyers account, as that's obviously in my real info and has nothing to do with my stealth. If I want to buy something, I'll bring out the laptop and connect over my wifi.

If I were to sign in on my phone, could eBay detect the phone number and link it to the stealth it's registered to? Or do they just log IP addresses?

Signing in by itself will not cause eb to detect the phone number of the phone.

Yes they cant see or try to connect the accounts through the number

They wont be able to see phone numbers on the phone so long as you are just using the browser.

There's no way they can see your phone number if you are just browsing.

I've signed in a few times to check my account while away from home, and I've bid on a few things too.

But everything has been on the browser, I haven't downloaded the app.
