Managed payments instead of paypal
 

Hello, my real ebay account is still in good standing but my paypal has been permanently limited for years now. I have heard managed payments is being rolled out only to business users for the UK in the next few months and some even now. So if i was to change my account status to business, can i then use managed payments and start using my real account again not having to rely on paypal? How soon can i do this? are all business users forced to change from july?

Ebay managed payment in UK will be at the end of this year.

MP will be for US accounts only in the next few months

Are you sure? I've seen a few uk members claim they have received the email to sign up. I think only some people were invited or ebay is trying to get people ready in advance, business users for the time being.

it promises that until July we have to involve. If it is true - yes, you will be able to use your account without paypal. However it is guess and we need to wait and see

Sign up and "show interest" I believe. I also received the link. But it doesn't change your account to a managed payments one unless you have been invited for beta testing in the uk.
