MP personal details questions
 

Hey,

I'm planning to use MP UK. However not sure which route to take.

I have some stealth accounts. My real ebay was banned years ago.

I plan to use 2 ebay accounts for MP. Should I change the name on them to my real name, address to match my bank details (would use 2 saver accounts)? Or is it sufficient to just use real name etc on the MP application page and leave the ebay details as stealth?

OR

Get creative with MP docs to match the stealth name/details?

Same here. i am scanning through this forum everyday in hope of answers. I'm in the exact same situation as yourself. 2 Stealth accounts, do i switch them to legit? Do i use creative docs? Which bank to use to get past mismatch? Who has been successful with creative docs and how did you do it? ect ect.. I'm fearful to ask questions now because the usual response is "Read the threads"

Some banks still don't disclose your information so if you submit your bank account sort code and account number I can't see why it would not work

I submitted a bank statement - suitably adjusted - it worked fine

Hi
I have a stealth account after being banned some years ago. I have now been stopped from listing until i set up managed payments.
What should I do? Do I carry on using my real details for the managed payments or what else should I be doing?
If I use my real details (different bank account than one i was banned with) will i be linked etc.
Any help appreciated

It is a bit confusing how it all works but alot of guys on here have had no problems signing up for MP with mismatch names and ones with doctored documents on there bank account and they all got approved for manage payments

After reading around seems like a lot of people are getting creative to match statements to the stealth ebay details as bank name mismatches dont matter to some banks. Am I right?

If you read the sticky note about manage payments you get a lot more information on it but yes mismatch account, bank account still works with MP

Hi I have been reading also but mixed reviews
So the name on eBay and the name and bank details for mp don’t need to match ? Just the name for mp and the name on bank account need to match ?

How would you go about processing refund? If it comes back out your bank it would go to the aggregator (Adyen) which will show the real name of account holder

I have had accounts suspended in my real name dating back to 2001, everytime i got suspended i created another with same details, only thing was different was contact number and paypal account, the reason for suspensions was nothing serious so that could be the reason, i mean i was getting suspended for too many none paid items. Buyers dont seem to get suspended as easy now

So does the bank statement need to match the eBay name and address ?

From the ebay website about submitting your bank statement.

When submitting a bank statement, please ensure that it

Is for the account that you are linking to eBay
Is for an account that belongs to yourself
Is less than 3 months old
Shows at least the last 4 digits of your current account number
Shows the logo of your bank
Matches the name on your eBay account

When you start the enrollment it will give further info including that you can cover the transactions too. All you have to do is the above.

I have done it already on 4 accounts, do not change your stealth names just photoshop the bank statement to be with the name of the eBay accounts.

I have just had a stealth suspended as it was switching to MP.

I feel like I will lose my other account in the next week or so.

I've also received PMs from people reporting the same thing.

For some reason its not being discussed on the open forum.

But it is happening.

Maybe it would be a good idea to switch to real details.

I don't know why it doesn't work for me change the name of the bank statment, does the name of the bank count ? i am with revolut (UK)
