Account restricted after mp submission
 

Hello,

My stealth account received mp invite 3 weeks ago. I prepared xxxx docs and opted in last week. I uploaded statements first and then a few hours later received an email saying that personal info could not be verified. I uploaded passport then.

My account got restricted yesterday. eBay asked me to send proof of identity, address, and ownership of the items you listed on eBay in the form of invoices and receipts.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

Were you selling items that ebay dont like, ie, fugazi, vero, digital software etc etc?

I don't think so. I am selling cheap Chinese products with 99%+ feedback and eTRS as well.

Sure you sent them proof of identity passport? they must want your driving license now

I don't get ebay sometimes they say personal info could not be verified but I know that mismatch bank details work because guys on here have done it so I don't know they are says this but that ebay for you could be you bank account thats the problem

Pathos said in a post a few weeks that photo I'd is needed now but I see ones signed up with no ID needed and get excepted

Account activated here changing my account details to my previously banned address in the MP sign up portal. Submitted genuine statement, no proof of ID shown at all. But I did see on experian they did a soft credit check. So they accepted me with previously banned details. And my account is fully activated accepting MP payments. Whether they suspend me out of nowhere later this year, only they know.

But then there are users here saying they are fully verified now with mis matched bank and fugazy docs submitted.

I think your items for sale are questionable. Or they don't like the bank account ? is it a virtual bank ?

I think if ebay can verify your name with your dob in their internal db, they won't require ID further.

Was the restriction caused by ID or bank statement?
