Hmm I'm not so sure, although I could be wrong. I have made two attempts to enroll with MP and both times I have failed because of the bank account, the ID has been accepted both times. I dunno how to get around it other than maybe creating the ebay account in my real name and then loggin directly into my bank account from MP instead of sending in a document. Hopefully it will just confirm the name and perhaps they only do additional checks on people who send in documents. Does anyone know if they can see your address and DOB when you log into your bank via MP? I'm guessing theres a fair chance they cannot?
thanks 175tom, keep the board updated.. hopefully this just needs quality issued docs and then a preferred bank.. halifax seems to be one that has worked for other users

Yea they can't comfirm your name address with some banks Halifax for one I have signed up for MP with a Halifax savings account passed no problem with changed name on the bank statement all they can check is that it's an real account.
hi i did this same thing i sent creative documents got verified was told i was on the list for managed payments then boom today account suspended is there anything you recommend or steps i should have taken ?
Just registered for MP in the UK (all details the same except my address which is altered on the bank statement).
How long would they take to get back to me? And is there a possibility of a ban before activation if they smell something fishy (i ask as i want to move all my stock in 2 weeks).
I appreciate any responses
cant reply to pm havent reached quota - but got docs for statements/and identity all approved and was on the list to only get account suspended today :(
Did they suspend you today? was it stealth account or real account?

So you left all the stealth info when changing to MP, sent in stealth ID and bank statement and got suspended?
yep had to test it to see if it'd work
kept all the stealth info (apart from phone number ofc for verification) sent stealth docs - got approved and was on the list for MP then 2 weeks late was hit with the silent suspension.
Ya i changed all stealth to my real info when MP came and now they are requesting an ID in order for me to send a payout to my bank. I may have to send my real ID in. Have you done that on any other account?
