I’m going to get banned aren’t I ?
 

I have an issue which I am unsure about regarding MP.

So, I registered with MP around 18 days ago; all docs were legitimate and matched my name on eBay. The only doctored doc was the bank statement as I changed the address on it (looked legit and matched the address on eBay).

Now, I did receive the standard email a few mins after registering saying “thanks for registering etc”. But, it’s been 18 days and I haven’t heard anything from them.

They say they’ll inform me 2 weeks before MP goes live, but must I wait longer or will they ban my account out of the blue? (Do consider I gave matching docs so on paper it would comfortably check out)

Did they take long to get back to others who signed up in October?

Just be patient. We are about to go into lockdown again in the UK on wednesday. Probably insufficient staff at work.

Could be a number of reasons for the delay.

It took them 21 days to switch me to managed payments , so no worries :ranger:

Yea be patient sounds like you done a good job doctoring the bank statement it should pass OK they can't check your name and address anyway all they check is that it's a real bank account ie sort code account number.
I just changed the name on my bank account and it passed.
I am live now today on MP

can anyone help

i have had mp since the start

i changed address recently and they asked for my ID again

uploaded my polish eu id card

they are saying has to be uk id!

i can open bank with this id but ebay no!

did they give you ID as the only option to proceed or did they tell you that the details should either be corrected or ID should be uploaded if the details are correct?
