Managed Payments Registration and Activation
 

Once registered on MP, does the EBay account become activated on the activation date regardless of whether verification has taken place?

In other words, if the account holder has not been verified either electronically or by submitting documents, will the account still be activated on the activation date and any funds held until identity has been verified?

I hope this makes sense.

I'm wondering about this aswell. Although I think if funds are being sent through Paypal I dont think the funds will be held...?

I have multiple MP accounts.

First few took 14 days to get activated.

But now it takes only 2-4 days (if You verify Your bank info via "Trustly")

Ebay wont send any payouts until ID and bank info is verified , during verification process payments will go to paypal.

(had a restriction approx 10 years ago)

They will restrict Your listings very soon (You wont be able to revise, relist etc)

Few weeks ago I was enrolled in to MP with on of My stealth accounts + real docs ( real docs were suspended 7 years ago on ebay/paypal)

Mismatch

DOB (stealth)
Address (stealth)
Surname (One of the letters was mismatching)

Match
name (name was matching stealth /real)


Please note it was verified via "Trustly" I did not send statements or any kind of doctored paperwork .

Im confused with my current situation. I registered for MP i think on the 16th in a panic more than anything. I gave my stealth name but real bank and it came back saying “please update your bank info” since then I have been selling on ebay as normal payments all going to Paypal. Today i received a message saying “your account will be activated for managed payments in the week starting 15/11/2020”. At one point will the restrictions start to take place? I want to milk this account for as long as possible really.. ive been waiting it out until evidence shows ways around this!
