Change D.O.B
 

Ok so have been doing a lot on ebay over the years, but now to the MP, the name is ok on the account but the D.O.B is not the same so was thinking of just changing it and sending a photo ID passport as has no address on it, with the lock down have changed my address on the bank account, not a problem and even changed the account name to match the business, it all links back to the company thats vat reg, so hoping will be ok, the thing is i was kicked off ebay 8 years ago diffirent address, wonder if thay can link back that far or would bother , have added the account but now saying you have untill the 12 Dec to send photo ID, also they are holding about 900 in payments, if any one has any experience, at this stage that would be great, lets try and stay positive, :uk:

I've yet to see a way of changing the DOB on an account. People's birthdays tend to stay the same.

your wrote they have been holding 900 on the account but that should mean that you must have been approved for MP before? does it mean you alread sent ID and they want it again?

regarding linked to suspended accounts I am 100% certain that they link everyone at some point and compare to old database. I think they have not done it yet to see the big picture and if they see it does not influence them strong enough they are likely to kick out everyone who was blacklisted before. I am also highly skeptical about people opening business accounts for different companies but with the same details of owners , I think it is likely that they all will be linked and go down together in case one of them goes down

Paypal never remove an account,but Ebay does,depends on how far back it was created and shut down.
See ,with Paypal there is $$ involved,but Ebay collected its fee and thats pretty much it.altho IRS could ask Ebay to produce a seller sales history.going back 7 years ?

At least in America, they can't legally take down two companies for what one of the companies is doing regardless of the owner. Sorry to go off topic, OP.

so far as I have seen countless cases where ebay suspend people with a vague text about security concerns without stating any details. all this means they take down people deliberately and will never admit why they did it unless it goes to court
