I've over 3k stuck in my recently restricted account

Does anyone know how to get the money out as even the ebay reps dont seem to have a clue ? :(

Based on what I read in the last few threads if you get limited whilst on MP they start refunding that money to customers apparently ? But wait for others to chime in.

Just says once the restriction is solved we can send payments as normal ? Can I manually request the transfer it's a lot of money stuck in there

I am unsure how managed payments work for UK. but in my experience with 1 MP account, they transferred it like 60-90 days later

if that 3K comes from selling,then I would think it could take up to 180 days,this is what cc chargeback would come in

Ebay reps do have a clue. Calling eBay is pointless and they will not assist you. In most cases they will tell you that you need to respond to emails you received, to get this issue reviewed. MC011 can take up to 3 months to get an appeal decision only from eBay’s internal team and be prepared to send docs. this type of limitation is usually caused by

Multiple cases from buyers
High returns & cancellations rates
Lack of communication with buyers and bad customer service.

They'll release the money for sure, but after a few weeks if/when the items show as delivered i assume,

They're saying to me there is no appeal on my account.

How do big sellers get away with all the above then ?

How long do you need to trade on eBay as a perfect bloody seller before you can start relaxing abit ?

There's really no absolute answer to that. Sellers with 20k feedback and 13 year old accounts get booted for minimal reasons.

It's luck of the draw, and the luck is very, VERY minimal.

Also, it sounds like they've made their decision if they have said 'no appeal'. Have you given the docs and ID?

with MP account,your own money comes from your customers,and they could file dispute/chargebacks,thats why your money is not being released.

The problem with mc011, is its basically on hold until you pass/fail that restriction. At least that's how i read it. I mean, if you're in managed payments... And you've given them your ein/ssns . i am unsure how you can justify not wanting to provide the docs. Invoices are simple, the id part is difficult. Because if they background check it, it best match. As said many times, adyen is like a bank, they aren't just going to open you an account with false info

likely that it will be handled the same way it is on paypal when the money is released after some time. what is actually more concerning about this is that because of MP ebay now suspend lots of people who would not have been suspended in the past if the money had gone through paypal. essentially this means that the risk of a paypal limitation has been transferred into risk of ebay suspension and this combined with background check will soon become an issue for a lot of sellers

The ****ers are slowly refunding the buyers already 700 refunded to the buyers how much more can I take blows after blows I feel like giving up honestly the worst year ever

Pretty much anyone who is putting a dispute there refunding

Are they high value items ? might be a good idea to write up a sob story that you can copy and paste to all your buyers to re-pay some of the money to another stealth paypal or via bank transfer. You will still get back some of it from honest buyers if not all.

this is not MP related though , same issue has been happening for years after suspension

I don't think OP's refunds are from open / pending cases which has always been the case, unless i'm wrong ?

Assad, is the money being refunded to buyers who have opened cases? Or is it disappearing without notice?

Sad but true, any disputes after you are suspended= auto refunds

Ok he's just edited in the "dispute" part ... in which case this is normal.

If you are perm suspended and anyone opens a case you lose the right to seller / buyer protection and forfeit any funds associated to the transaction.

I thought as much. When i got banned from mc011, buyers can open disputes but i would still have some sort of seller protection.

But yes, a perm hard suspension is a sticky one.

When i had the same as OP, i lost a few quid, but also messaged buyers asking for reimbursement. These were high end items, and i would say 70% gave me the money back.

Most honest buyers would.

Even if ebay refunded them, it's theft if they don't pay you back and keep the item. There is nothing stopping you from pursuing those funds via small claims court. Especially if it's say a £1000 apple iphone for example.

unfortunately that is one of the main risks with MP , taking away the ability to run multiple accounts means that a lot of volume is accumulated in one place and you never know if you get suspended , considering that suspension can easily occur in absence of any violations but due to "risk management"
