is stealth 100% over?
 

Thought i would start this thread as we go along to see how time progresses with MP.

Indeed, many have been accepted on MP by converting stealth to real details, but when those get banned, then we're in trouble.

So, since the majority are being rejected via their docs and other reasons, it will be interesting over time how the situation develops.

Do many of you think stealth is over with MP? What do the veterans of ebay think?

There is also conflicting information regarding the verification on what is being checked, is this the quality of the docs or further credit or id checks and if so what are they looking for.
now with bank payments they do check the name on the account when you pay someone new.

Certainly not over and won't be anytime soon. What's without dispute is that eBay is changing. When the dust settles, we'd find ways to circumvent the new barriers they put up. Stealth might change, but I don't see it dying with MP.

I agree. I think ADYEN has initiated the change for sellers under MP to provide verification under there own verification process with ebay. This should not be confused with Etsy or any other business model they may provide elsewhere

Stealth is not over my account is still working fine on management payments for over 2 months now the account is all made up only real thing is the bank account

did you use stealth docs when verifying the account

i used stealth docs really good quality but failed to get up and running the bank account used was a saving account
i kept the stealth inforamtion on the ebay account

Yes they where stealth docs completely made up ie not real like I said the only real thing on this account was the bank account sort code and account number the name was changed on the statement to match the name on the eBay account

In my opinion the name on the bank does not matter just the info provided on mp sign up is checked and verified. This is done by checking financial profile on the person. Risk factor is taken into account. Even if perfect docs are provided. Think about it. If docs were accepted without any financial background confirmed their loss would be ridiculous with daily and weekly cashouts just on the basis of good looking docs and no actual background on the person running account

Maybe I am wrong i just think this is the only way for them to run mp with limited risk

In other words, full stealth days are over. It's depressing but MP is a mile above paypal when it comes to checking docs and verifying ID.

Granted, we can have a few legit accounts which are 'second chances', but once those are banned on MP, then what?
