MC042 NOTICE: eBay Registration Reinstatement
 

This could be interesting for Managed Payment Sellers.

I have just received an email quite literally tonight UK time "MC042 NOTICE: eBay Registration Reinstatement" on an account.

I previously signed up for MP and submitted docs to this account and was then banned in December - NARU.

I have not logged into the account yet, however this could be a positive outcome.

I will update with developments.

This is confusing.

Yes I was invited to MP.

I registered.

Then I submitted docs.

Then I received an email stating the account had been restricted. NARU.

Then today I received an email MC042 NOTICE: eBay Registration Reinstatement.

I have just logged in and still NARU/Suspended.

Not sure what is going on.

This is the email I have received tonight.

The account is still NARU. Maybe that will change?

Assume the MP details were stealth.

Also got this email. Haven't logged into the account, but this was previously banned. Not sure if it's an error.

I got same email as well. My account was suspended as it failed managed payment check - only submitted stealth id which didn't pass (same docs passed Pxxpal to lift it limits earlier). Haven't submitted bank account details. Logged in to check account, it allows to add item to watch list or even to bag. There is note on selling account to add outstanding bank account - as soon as you press on that link it opens page saying that account it suspended. Afterwards tried to create listing but it doesn't let to submit because of outstanding payment method. I own few quids to ebay is any chance that they are trying to get their fees back in this way?

i got the same this morning acount was banned last year after docs sent for MP,checked ebay this morning still Not a registered user,,mistake i say but did get my hopes up when read mail lol.

ps i owed £12 fees too could be a way of getting there fees .

Yup I owed fees too. Funny thing is they owe me 500, so they can sod it.

I had the same for all the accounts which were suspended when they were due to go live with Managed Payments. All the accounts are still suspended. It must be a mistake.

I had this email yesterday. Logged in and still blocked. Spoke to ebay on chat and they said they had noticed something since sending that email (in the space of 12 hours) so account still blocked forever - Very random

Not sure guys. Yesterday added item to the basket now getting reminders to complete checkout for item. If I will upload bank account doc it might be suspended again. Anybody had luck with revolut bank account for managed payments with stealth name on it?

not had this email myself after a suspension and i didnt owe any fee's lol :(

I suspect they are trying to get the fees in. I’ve got £200 to pay so won’t risk it!

F*** em. I’ve had accounts suspended before owing over £1k in fees. Yeah course I’m gonna pay up when you’ve just kicked me off !! eBay make a rod for their own back.

I am willing to pay due fees. But the interesting thing was that ebay did not give me a chance to pay the fees as the fees page were unavailable to visit.

I got this same exact email on Jan the 27th, only checked my email account today,and saw that my account was Reinstated. Thought it was a spoof email, still think it is, I dont owe any fees. When I logged out for the last time my account was spotless (other then the reason for being banned) since then I have created a new account with real details. I WILL NOT log back into the banned account. I think its either a spoof email or an email error. We know ebay has bugs. This could be one of them.
