How to register on MP without receiving an invite?
 

Hello, my personal ebay accounts paypal was banned many years ago. I am interested in joining MP so i can start using the account again, i have clicked on the "express interest" but nothing comes of it. is there any way to forcefully register or anything that can help? thanks

There is no way at the moment to get invited by your own, you'll have to wait for them to send you the invite.

Ok, what are some things you can do to increase your chances of being invited? do you need sales over a certain threshold? there must be things that trigger an invite to your account.

Make another PayPal account, preferably in your mismatched name, sell benign stuff like personal stationery to keep the account going. eBay requires an active account to invite you to MP.
If PayPal gets suspended, make another one.

This is what i had in mind. In my experience, the name has to be the same one you have on ebay, the address can be mismatched and you sell cheap stuff, doesn't matter if you make a profit or even break even. This will show ebay you're a seller and increase the chance of getting invited. The only concern i had was my ebay account being suspended due to a mismatched paypal but i think if the name matches and address different, it should be okay. People do move house so it should be fine. Although, there is the option of changing your ebay address to match the new paypal accounts stealth address, not sure if that's a wise move but it would make the paypal match the ebay perfectly.
