Sons account has wrong date of birth and now he has been asked for managed payments
 

Hi

So my son set up an eBay and PayPal account when her was under 18, didn’t think too much of it. He was 18 last month.
Over Christmas we lost our eBay account and have been successfully using his account to sell as he never really used it. Even though it’s registered to the same address and we have the same surname, it flew under the radar when our other accounts got banned.
Now we need to register for MP in April and it would all be ok, as my son has his id and bank account etc in his name, but the date of birth registered on the eBay account is wrong.
We can’t change the date of birth, I don’t believe, without speaking to eBay.
My question is, when we apply for MP, do we automatically have to upload documents? Also can anyone see a way out of this or had any experience of something similar, are eBay sympathetic (I doubt it) ?
My other concern is that our address will flag up and his account will automatically get banned

When you sign up for MP you give them the details then. People change the entire name and addresses in the process with no problems of any kind of the information is real.

Thank you I will try that, I was thinking that we should give the original incorrect date of birth, but in that case we will go with the correct one that matches his ID
