The only workaround for managed payments?
 

Hi people

So from what I can tell, thanks to a brilliant thread from "resiliant"
Now with managed payments, you can only set up an account using your own, or someone else's details. This is to pass the soft credit Check that adyen do.

From what I can tell, if you set up an account in a f@@@address, name ... they will 100% ask you to verify your ID, and or bank statements. Which leaves you stuck.

Its worth noting that, Adyen is a bank, so if you were to set up in a F@@@ name, and send in F@@@ docs to verify identity, pretty sure that is Fraxx and could land you in jail lol. Would you agree?

What are everyone comments and experiences on this, and do you think this is correct?

Adyen is not a bank, it is a payment processor.
That said, it you try and create a bank account fraudulently to offer them for MP then you are already in hot water even if Adyen aren't interested.
