managed payments - banks mismatched names

Some conflicting info here. Can we attach mismatching bank to ebay accounts? ( from an ebay point of view)

Does ebay keep money on your ebay account ( like paypal does) or do they automatically put it all in your bank? (to avoid them needing to withdraw)

How do they take money from for refunds, direct debit or via linked card (didn't ask me for card details, and I've not heard nothing from them since I done a test account)

I have 2 account that everything matches, credit searches but a third name bank ebay have blacklisted the name for selling. Not been able to get a seller account in this name ever so it pointless trying to set one up in this name and kill the bank account that way

Does ebay send anything out via physical mail as confirmation?

Are statements or screenshots better for bank proof?

Finally when they give you a deadline( mines 31st May on all but 1 account) does this mean this date or do they give another deadline like I read they was doing towards the start of MP?

How will you save numerous accounts by 1 real ID document?

They say mismatched names work

you should research past thread and ebay policy on Ayden on how it works, some can be found on Ebay seller forum.

some banks will reject incoming deposits if the names do not match.

I know some bank will reject it, but my concern is with the sender bank i.e ebays/ Ayden.

I know when I send from my bank to the ebay bank if I mistype my name it wont send. I'm wondering if ebays works that way too but apparently not.

It’s the bank that may have concerns - the payouts from eBay/ Ayden to a UK bank account regardless of name will be processed and clear through. You’d only have issues if the the bank flagged this and starting asking you questions…

Thanks, so on managed payments can I hold a balance on ebay? For refunds

You can’t necessarily hold but that would vary depending on your payouts (daily or weekly) - they will always attempt to take the refund from your available balance first and then backup method.

And could the back-up method be a credit card instead the "managed payments bank"?

No,it works like a merchant account.
It will withdraw fund from your bank account,if you do not have enough to cover,it becomes NSF and your bank will slap you with NSF fee,
You can request your bank (stop payment) to block them ,you have t o pay a fee to your bank and it is good for 3 or 6 months, but then you will not be able to sell on Ebay anymore
