UK MP - online or physical bank?

I just talked to representative on ebay and he said that only physical bank is accepted for payments. Like HSBC or Royal bank.

Is that true?

Aren t you using online banks like Transferwise or Revolut for receiving GBP?

I asked an eBay rep and he told me that I need only a bank account, after asking his colleagues for more information. They are not informed well about MP in each country, just like us.

Ebay staff are just students working in call centres. If they actually knew how ebay worked then they would be selling, not answering the phone!

I have successfully added an online bank (monese) to MP with no issues. Monzo also works, Uaccount doesn't

Any other online bank alternatives for EU countries ? Monese is good for now, Wise and Revolut too. Bunq is not an option for me, N26 still not operating in Bulgaria. Monzo and Uaccount are only for UK citizens as I'm not mistaken.

Be careful with Monzo, they're very trigger happy with freeze accounts and all your money inside. Then its a long drawn out process with the FO to get it back
