Any danger of sending in same ID docs as done for Paypal?
 

Let's say an ID doc was sent to Paypal for verification 2 years ago.

Now need to send photo ID for ebay MP.

If I send same doc to ebay, will they have access to Paypal ID doc records and be able to compare?

No ebay do not have access to your PayPal account details so you can use the same ID and docs you used for PayPal

I was hesitant of asking incase it was 'frowned' upon.
I'm saturated right now... worried sick about dumb ebay - I'm sure the information is there... just can't read it!

Hi please can you tell me can I use my real ID for eBay managed payments on a stealth account while I still use my old eBay account to buy that was banned from selling but not from buying? Because I think the accounts will be linked and if so does that mean those that have successfully registered their real ID for eBay managed payments on a stealth account do not have a way to buy on eBay? Thanks

No, you can't.
The only exception is if the address in the 2 accounts is different.

Thanks do you know if registering managed payments would also work with business accounts? Personal accounts require bank and photo ID but for business accounts eBay are asking for evidence of business and I don't have any documents to prove the business is legit. I think changing the account type to private would probably not workout. Maybe private selling accounts are the way to go for now until more info is available

The agreed consensus is not to send stealth doc to ebay, most likely result in ban.
