Real ID for MP was suspended
 

I got an ebay account registered in 2005 with stealth info.

This account was passed for MP last OCT. I was using it without a problem. It is a top-rated account.

But last week, ebay asked me to send the ID and bank statement.
So I uploaded my real ID with Payoneer bank info.

Today, when I log in to ebay account, it shows suspended.

It is strange. I contacted ebay and CS said my ID had passed the verification, whereas the bank did not pass.

I said if I can change the bank? CS told me the decision is the final.

So, I waste my real ID for ebay?
Can I use this ID with a mis-spelling name to register a new ebay account?

Please advise.

That is very harsh, they should at least let you change your bank, very harsh, try speaking to a manager?

Try creating another account with your real infos, see what happens.

Id not the problem.Payoneer is the problem.ebay are blocking these virtual online banks in their MP system.You ll have to use a real high street bank account in the future for the MP.

Payoneer is a no-no with Ebay MP

You need a high street bank account and Adyen check the real name on the account

Saver accounts appear not to work

I do have a HSBC bank but ebay does not allow me to input the new bank account as CS said the account has been suspended.

Can I use the same real ID to register a new ebay account?

So all legit accounts 'without' a highstreet bank will be suspended at some point? must be tons of people with payonner, monzo, revolt etc. seem odd to me :confused:

it is likely only about those companies that easily provide virtual bank accounts in quantities. payoneer is such a company but not revolut or monzo , monzo has 3 million UK customers by the way

Thanks for the info :) ive just began my mp payments and was slightly worried as im on revolut. Don't want to lose this account :s

although I don't doubt they can blacklist anyone , I think they would be fearful of touching any bank with millions of domestic private customers. It is the companies that provide services primarily to business that are at risk here , I am sure

The problem is that MP does give any chance to change the bank info even if the ID has passed the verification. You have only one chance to give correct info. Your account will be banned if one of them does not pass. For Amazon, you can always provide the info/documents in 6 months until they are satisfied. But MP is harsher.

I contacted ebay CS many times they only told me I cannot sell on ebay as back office made the decision. The other CS said I did not provide the required documents on time. But I did upload documents to ebay the next day since I received the message.

So I think ebay would lost many good sellers.

did you actually provide a bank confirmation document from payoneer? and was your ID fully registered in the UK?

one of the biggest problems with use of real info will be in alot of cases ebay will suspend you at some point and without stealth what do you do then? Stealth needs to find a way to overcome MP, does anyone know if Canda requires the SIN on new accounts and do they vefify it

then it is an innovation from ebay where they create rules on the go and anybody who does not fit into the new rules gets immediately suspended. this certainly goes one step further than adyen who would usually allow several attempts to upload documents if previous one was rejected.

no matter how much they try , they will not become like amazon. on the contrary they will be losing buyers to amazon with this strategy

im assuming this decision was made by ebay brass not to allow third party banks such as payoneer.

Even if I changed the bank to HSBC but the decision still can not be changed.
All these were made by the back office.

The CS only told my ID has been verified whereas the bank did pass.
They said they cannot see the further info.

MPs is managed by Jeremy Antkowiak's company. He struck a deal with eBay last year to KYC their users.

Every single step of verification gets forwaded to his team in real-time and it's them who assess the risk level of a client. High risk users are then banned by eBay indefinitely.

These people are complete ba**ards and don't give a f**k. I'm still trying to get my money back
