Seems it is very depending on the mood of ebay bots. Some people have huge issues using virtual banks like Wise, other people use iCard, Revolut, Wise, N26 and similar without any problems.

this is compliance verification when you reach a limit, i am sure. this is not only about virtuak banks.

because virtual bank accounts are not bank accounts provided by banks without physical branches but it is about frequently abused accounts , mostly provided by companies that obtain them in large quantities from banks and rent them out to international customers

as far as I know it is a total sweep of specific bank accounts like right now with Wise where everyone using Wise was restricted. It could be there are exceptions but I think they will just be restricted in the next couple of weeks.

Revolut and N26 are unlikely to be restricted as they are not this type of virtual bank accounts.

I was looking at creating another eBay account with revolut bank I think it will be fine as last account I use nationwide through trustly online banking and it had a list of banks eBay accepts and revolut was one of them they accept.

Revolut is accepted by eBay. Most virtual bank accounts will go under verification. As payoneer, wise, Citibank, will fall under id verification.

Revolut is confirmed as safe, as well as N26, Monese, iCard and similar ones having strict verification including video selfies and so.
