What makes you think it wouldn't work? They're only offering to do what the law (GDRP) demanded they must do if requested - they ain't doing it willingly that's for sure.

They even confirm that when you simply close an account they delete all data too.

It might be of interest to stealthers but I'm guessing nearly all would fall foul of the 'in good standing' criteria.

The issue is if you breach any of their policies they are entitled to hold on to any data you have provided.

It's only for squeaky clean accounts that are entitled to request permanent deletion.
