Has anyone got a email address for eBay someone that will actually reply as I’m getting no where with live chat or phone calls

It would be pointless unless you go through the official channels eBay has setup for sellers to contact them.

What do you mean by not getting anywhere? No one responds or they gave you a canned response?

Well I’ll explain I had an eBay all real documents been been busy very bussy with high sales was then all of a sudden eBay have restricted my account saying I need to verify my documents so I got on live chat as was no link to upload spoke to someone and thay said my scount was permanently restricted . Your not be able to open another account all that blah blah blah . So I closed the chat got on to another one and spoke to someone who give me the link said what I had to do done it all and then I got a response saying amount is permanently restricted. So eBay had when thay put the restricted in place in the first place stoped me messaging buyers also sent all the recent buyers messages saying that thay could have refunds as the item had now been removed from eBay . So buyers started to open up cases as items not received bare in mind a few of them was not even dispatched as the item was only purchased that day so I issued a refund for them . But Thair was s few item totalling around £200 . The account was restricted on the 14th nov buyer only paid on 10th and I dispatched on the 11th so Thair items was still on the way thay escalated the eBay case after I messaged them though the case ( only way I’m able to message people ) and eBay give refunds as tracking did not show items was delivered at time . I contacted eBay explained showed items had now been delivered eBay have said nothing we can do now untill I resolve the restriction on my account but this will never happen as eBay has said its permanently. It’s not about the money it is the buyers now have the item and the money back .

Yeah - eb notifying buyers about item removal has long been at play and is a nightmare when item has already been mailed :mad2:

Yer Iv only ever had it on one other account a few years back but this time it just annoyed me as it was all real details . Any idea if Thair is a way to claim my money back

sounds really nightmare
when you use real docs, and still get restricted
how could they do that

Happens everyday. Usually the items sold or customer service issues. Sometimes it is just bad luck.

@OP, Ebay rarely will help you after a permanent suspension. IF you can resolve that issue, they may or may not help at that point.

What was the restriction for?

Restriction just said please verify information and had a link I clicked link it took me to eBay live chat spoke to them and thay said I needed to add bank statement and I’d I done this but I already had to do it for managed payment when I moved over to manage payments then I got a reply saying it is a permanent restriction can’t open new account est the normal crap . And would not explain anything as allways with eBay

Did then send you the transcripts? If so, open that message and reply. Completely different people than chat there.
