TSB opened online and closed next day by bank

I opened a TSB current account online yesterday successfully.
A few emails were received and told the card was on the way.

However, I received an email from TSB today saying that the online username and phone alert were canceled.

Just called TSB to check and they said my account was closed due to security reasons. Very strange!!

Any ideas?

they do this frequently , natwest , RBS tend to do the same. this is because the account is opened by computer and then fails on manual review

They said my application has been withdrawn due to fail on the 2nd check.

you need to improve your credit history , I would wait for at least 6-12 months and during this time it is better to refrain from applying for credit accounts

the toughest banks are TSB , CO-OP , Natwest , RBS , HSBC

My credit score is in a good band.

Which bank will be easier to open online?

Thanks

that is any large bank , it is a question of credit history , just apply for a basic account as those have lower requirements
