Top-Rated eBay account still got payment on hold for every order
 

4 months old ebay account. It has became to a top-rated seller since Feb. But still got payment on hold for every transaction. Is it normal? eBay won't release fund until uploading a tracking number and confirming the tracking info shows delivered.

"Thank you for posting your order and uploading tracking details. Funds from this sale will be on hold until we can confirm delivery. The current maximum estimated delivery date is 10 Feb. Funds may be held beyond this date if delivery cannot be confirmed."

Any one got the similar problem?

Top rated is merely an ebay selling tool/privilege, your monies and their control and disbursement is dictated by Adyen. It's a young account, so there's still some concern on account standing which isn't influenced by your listing status.

Similar tactic to what Amazon employ, you can start a new account and use FBA and go straight to the buy box, even push yourself to the top of search rankings via sponsored listings etc. But they will still hand on to your monies for 90 days or more until you've earned their confidence.

But like Amazon, in time, you will be offered daily disbursements so for now it might just be a waiting game. Have you asked them when this point will be reached?
