Indeed, they became very picky, actually border line illegal to limit the choice of a banking system.

As a non resident I'm fuxxed, can´t seem to get my hands on a uk back account to match my (real) details as a sole trader.

That's always been the case, the problem with users of this forum who are non-residents is they don't want to operate legitimately, don't want the hassle of managing the regulatory requirements (or pay an accountant to do it for them) and don't want to register with HMRC for Income Tax, Corporation tax or the killer for them, mandatory VAT.

It only works if you are serious about your new business and are 100% legitimate. A rare thing on here.
