ebay accepted bank statement instantly

Not sure if a post has been made on this but uploading a bank statement may be a solid option after all!

I tried to verify my bank using micro deposits but for some reason was saying they were incorrect and after 3 attempts I got a message saying to upload bank statement... expecting the worst I still just uploaded a printed pdf and to my surprise got an email 10 minutes later with the following

"Thanks for providing us with the information we requested. We verified your updated details.

If your payouts were on hold: you'll start receiving funds again, provided there are no other issues needing your attention."

I used a barclays saver only opened last week so only has 3 transactions and the pdf only shows my name and not address so no need to get creative.

For this account I'm using my real name and just uploaded my ID which was requested, so will update if this account lasts with using my real name and ID

Barclays saver account statements have full name and address on them like all of their accounts.

I have never heard of ebay accepting a bank statements without an address - even if a bank did issue one.

bank account verification is secondary , if main verification passed bank should not be an issue but it also works the opposite way

Two almost impossible to believe coincidences, take advantage of it, it surely will never happen again.

Hank you kind of come across as having a really unhelpful attitude a lot recently...

Im sure you never used to. But the constant need to dig at jdbutler331 isnt exactly helpful in anyway

Best to focus on your own things not other peoples.

Just correcting errors.

Do I want members to think Barclays issue statements without addresses and that ebay will accept them, no I don't.

Just trying to clarify for those who might wrongly think this is a viable stealth option - it isn't. :thumb:

But I will do as I'm told and no longer correct misleading 'advice' :)

So what part of the account is stealth or made up ? if you're using real details it's bound to work.

Classy. Here's a bit of advice from one of the mods... 'Best to focus on your own things not other peoples.'

As you clearly didn't read my 'nonsense' I will repeat it for you.

Barclays do not issue statements without addresses, ebay will not accept a statements without an address. That's fact, can't see why your would get all sweary over a member correcting a misleading post from a newbie.

I haven't been insulting to anyone, I guess it's the snowflake woke world we live in if factual information and advice and correcting errors is immaterial if someones anonymous online persona is offended.

But I've promised JN101 I will not do it anymore, if someone posts something which is wholly incorrect I will leave it there for fellow stealthers to believe. :pound:

Here's a promise for you. I will offer my sincere apologies to the poster and this forum at large if one, just one, credible source can confirm that my two observations are incorrect.
