New EBay account got banned after 6 days
Hi anybody please help!
I created a new ebay account using my real name and DOB (getting banned before) but a new address and all other information is new like phone number, email address etc.
Use phone hotspot for internet (do have another account using Hotspot working fine).
I didn't do anything just browsing to build up the cookies, but after 6 days, I received a message said my account has been suspended permanently!!
Please can anyone let me know which part I did wrong please?
Can I use this address again but my husband’s details? This is the new home we just moved into really don’t want to waste it.

In US,we have to give our SSN-social security number,what is the equivalent in UK?
IF this account is banned ,opening another account in your hubby name and same address?do you two share devices ?or ISP ACCOUNT? |

Odd that it took 6 days - need to pinpoint the issue - you could alter the address the slightly...add a suite or unit number? |

| What address did you use? Is your other account using hotspot okay? Some hotspot like giffgaff for example is a no goer. |

this is business as usual on ebay nowdays , you can just open more accounts
it is better to start selling immediately by the way , joe from the street certainly would not be browsing for weeks before selling something |

Using your name and DOB which was previously banned is a no go in my opinion.
Better not use the address either again. |

| do not mislead people , any details banned on new accounts as random suspensions can be used again. if suspended for a specific policy violation this may become an issue |

I am not misleading. OP mentioned that previously banned name and D.O.B was used to create this new account which then got banned, so what would you conclude from that? Quote:

| Talking from experience, I had an account with a limit of 100 per month, sold out then requested higher selling limit which got rejected. Following month sold out but didn't request an increase instead, created a new account which had a 500 limit per month, was over the moon. Sold 5 items on new account then got banned on new account. Called in to eBay, they don't normally tell you the reason for banning but the guy said was possibly because I tried to circumvent the selling limits in place, which is in violation of ebay policy.
First account has grew to a limit of 1200 items per month naturally and is running fine.
Both my accounts setup as business.
Details can be changed over but ensure you can provide legit details, if not legit details then a legit passport with f@@@ address will pass verification. |

| it is a major mistake to think that new accounts get suspended because personal details are blacklisted
I wish ebay were that sophisticated but unfortunately they just suspend people randomly and they also reinstate people randomly when you call them |

| What’s wrong with giffgaff hotspot is I believe they recycle IPs I can’t be certain but every account I created with giffgaff hotspot always got suspended. |
