| | | Rehuv901 | 04-16-2023 01:38 PM | Real Info/ID + Stealth Bank Hello,
I’m trying to understand if it’s possible to prevent a ban and maintain selling over long term by providing genuine information and a real ID, which can be uploaded when needed but the bank itself would be in a different name, opened using a none UK resident.
As I understand it, a soft credit check is performed based on the details provided to eBay, which usually what leads ID request and a ban, if a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ID uploaded. So I’m curious whether a similar check is performed for the linked bank account. If so, how would they be able to do a credit check just from a name with no access to DOB |
| degsey69 | 04-16-2023 01:54 PM | Re: Real Info/ID + Stealth Bank They have no way to know what name is associated with a bank account number, banks will not give that information out to eBay. English eBay bank deposit information does not show a name against it (at least not next to my UK account), the US eBay deposits going into my account had the account holders name against it, but the banks I used did not question it. |
| Rehuv901 | 04-16-2023 02:05 PM | Re: Real Info/ID + Stealth Bank I assumed they would be able to see the name once they pull the deposit back out of your bank. However, I don’t see how just a name would be enough to conduct any checks. I know for sure mismatching names work but that time both eBay details and bank were on legit people. |
| degsey69 | 04-16-2023 02:10 PM | Re: Real Info/ID + Stealth Bank They would only see the account details not the name on a withdrawal from the account. |
| Rehuv901 | 04-16-2023 02:19 PM | Re: Real Info/ID + Stealth Bank Hopefully that’s the case . Sometimes it’s a bit confusing reading information on this forum because feels like everyone says different stuff.
I’m testing what I said in post as we speak which i hope goes well so I can proceed with other accs in the same way |

| vrajabihari | 05-04-2023 09:47 PM | Re: Real Info/ID + Stealth Bank Okay, so I had a question after thoroughly reading the Stealth Guide, however I think this thread might have just answered that.
Hopefully someone can clarify if what I am thinking is correct.
So the best strategy is to use the real name and address of a friend/family, who will permit us to use ID for verification when/if required.
Should we also use their bank details, or is it okay to use our own bank details, with our own real name (as long as they have not been used on any previously compromised accounts)?
This thread seems to imply that we can use our own details for the bank details used in the Managed Payments, as eBay can not see the name on the account.
Is that correct?
I am almost certain that in previously attempting stealth accounts, I have been asked for the cardholder name whilst entering banking details.
Could someone please clear this up for me.
Thank you |

Thank you | You use your own bank account for MP and you enter the real name for the details |
