Can I use the same bank details for more than one UK account?
 

I have two UK accounts now, and I only have one bank details.

If the 2 UK eBay accounts are legit then do it, if not then do not associate the accounts, have you tried to open a savings account with the UK bank you have and use that sort code and accounts details

If it is like Paypal,you cannot use the same bank account for more than one PAYPAL account

there are many different replies here , in reality it is just 2

ebay allow exactly 2 ebay accounts to have the same bank account on file

in the past it was many but now just 2 , presumably so people can run a personal and business account with same bank if they need to

then they are inherently linked if the bank is used across the 2 accts

In the past,you mean prior to MP?then it is Paypal and yes,you can link your PAypal account to many Ebay accounts.?

Easiest thing to do is just open up a UK savings account and link that into the second eBay

Can any one help me ... I have an ebay account which is 10 years old I sold in 2020 till 2022 too many goods on it and have more than 100K feedback but from the start of 2023 I sold nothing. The reason is I purchased the account from someone and he is now not giving me his bank account to be used with this ebay account. This ebay account is registered as company and MP verified.

But as the bank account which was on the original owner's company name is now no more. So the bank account is closed as it was on revolt.

Can anyone help me what are the best way to attach new account ? as the orignal owner is now not will to open a new account for me ??


Can I put myself on a company as director and make a new bank account for the company and add it to ebay.. ? will it work as I am the old blocked ebay seller before MP. So I am afraid maybe they will block the account if I add under my name or name mis match or will it only match the company name ??

The bank account name shouldn't matter when you add to eBay.

So if I open a bank account on my name and attach it to ebay company account will it work ? I believe ebay checks the account holder name and the name of account even if ebay is register to a business name ? or not

it should work fine - eb doesn't check the account holder name in that way and cannot see the name on the account by default
