Selling without ID
 

Hi all

Based on people's experience here, how much can you sell on Ebay UK before you have to send in ID?

And once you get hit with that, can you withdraw any monies, or do they put that on hold?.

I don't know how many sales you can make before ID is requested nowadays given we're in the realms of Adyen managed MP, but I do know that no ID means no money.

Ok, I'm more thinking about value of sales

I think I read something bandied around here saying £750-1000, I might be wrong

Does it matter? How far are you going to push funds on hold before you start questioning if you'll pass verification and your monies will ever be released?

I want to sell some goods on stealth accounts without providing ID, so I'm looking at an amount that I can stop at that won't trigger an ID request.

But how do you plan on getting your funds out?? As I said earlier, no verification, no money.

they usually allow up to 1000-1500 without ID but you never know when payouts will be frozen , they will be doing a credit check , if it comes back negative the balance will likely not be paid out until verified and that may happen at 600 as well and on accounts that do not sell anything too , just later

in many cases yes BUT a lot depends on what you are selling, how much of it, etc - complaints, etc

One of my stealth accounts triggered an ID required at around £900
