Multiple accounts policy

Hi

I have an Ebay stealth account, and I was thinking to make another account with the same details apart from the email address. Ebay say this is allowed, as long as I am not trying to circumvent selling limits.

But if I make a second account, presumably I will get the same limits again, and therefore I have circumvented the selling limits by default?

Also, I suppose the more accounts you have under the same details the quicker you can get suspended, because of velocity limits on new accounts?

It would be good to hear from those who have done this

Cheers

you can have multiple accounts , with selling limits they do not mean monthly selling limits but abuse of selling limits

for example when you are banned from selling a specific item on one account but list it on another one or when you list the same item on more than one account in the same condition on the same ebay site

With multiple accounts that are linked, any restriction you get on one will continue over to the other, so if your selling is limited on one for 3 days it will be limited on the other as well.

Ok I get it

And what about selling too much too fast?

If I am selling on a new account/s does having the extra account enable me to sell more from the outset, or the opposite - I should sell less on both accounts

i have tested having multiple eb accounts with same info back in the day - it can work but it's always possible to have issues with one which will lead to other problems.

i remember at one point, one account had selling limits restricted...i did experiment with ebook stuff...then the other accounts had selling limits reduced as well.

Over time though, i didnt repeat the ebook activity and selling limits have all gone up

It's not so much selling limits I'm referring to, but "velocity limits"

Prior to MP this mostly related to Paypal: selling too much too fast.

Now that Ebay and PP have separated, I'm wondering if I will be able to sell only half as fast compared to if I had just a single account.

no matter what account , there must not be sudden spikes of volume , on amazon it would work , on ebay it is a road to hell

Ok, but let's say I selling 5 items on one account and I'm doing fine, then I open another and sell 5 items on that too, that would be a big spike.

So, on the second account maybe I would be better selling one or two a day?

This is what I'm trying to get at

Is there a way we can remove the restrictions? If you do a data delete on the suspended accounts and then create a new one would that work?

No you can't just remove the restrictions.
If an account is suspended, that account is dead.
