Adding bank account after suspension
 

Recently I was a bit slow adding a new bank in case of suspension, but now I have a smallish amount of money stuck in a suspended account with no bank attached. Does anyone know if it's possible to add a bank account after suspension and still get paid after 90 days, does the microdeposit thing still need to be done?

you should be able to add the bank account at any time for MP...You are not able to add the bank acct?

I misunderstood that there wasn't already a try with the new bank acct

100% guarantee the bank account will need to be verified. What makes you think it wouldn't be knowing what we do about MP and Adyen?

Adding an account is only half the issue, will they even release it? Why was the account suspended?

IF You know the password and can access your account,then there is no need for micro deposits

Agreed, but I think the poster was asking if the account will need verifying, by, for example, microdeposits the preffered option of the stealther. Otherwise why mention it?

Anyway, whatever route they choose the account will need verifying.

The OP wanted to know if it was possible to add an account to a suspended account to release the monies held by eBay, I suspect he got suspended for whatever reason quickly after making some sales and had not added an account to pay into after the 60 days.

I do not know if you can add an account after suspension, anybody know.

Long time delay as I didn't bother checking until the funds were released. I thought I'd come back and post some useful info for others in future.

The answer is No. I'm currently battling monkey support to get them to add a back account. Whist the MP is accessible on site any attempt to add a bank account results in an error. I'm trying to find out if MP support team will do it but most monkeys are denying me access to the team entirely by refusing to transfer the call. I'll keep this updated for reference, eBay will not be stealing my money.

It would help if we knew why the account was suspended.

Even in the unlikely event they allowed you to add a bank account they still wont pay out until you've had the account re-instated.

You need to deal with the suspension first, it would be madness to waste a bank account at this stage. (IMO they'll not let you add one anyway until you do).
