Hi everyone

I have some uk ebay seller accounts that are registered with mickey mouse names and addresses

it seems that they fail after a few hundred pounds revenue, does supplying mickey mouse documents still work?

these are personal accounts

They check the electoral roll / credit agencies.

Changing the details could trip security flags. You have a bank account on file for each account already set? Best to do so in case you get suspended without appeal and funds are in the eb account

I haven't done any changes in a long time but I remember there used to be a trick where MP details didnt need to match eb registration info.

Changing eb registration info can cause the flags but the MP mismatch used to be ok ...but perhaps it's changed as well.

Hopefully other ppl can comment.

They do then when that's fails they ask for extra details which can work (it won't always though)

Changing to real peoplea details its playing with fire a bit

Not going to add bank accounts till I decide that I will do with them, I might ask some geriatrics at my local old people's home if I can use their details.A bottle of brandy and a box of after eights should do the trick..

Why would the check fail? because the person is not registered there any more, or because there is already an account registered with that person?, or.....?

always a nice read on here when you see people gradually figuring things out but yeh you can change to real person details...but dont do anything that would make credit agencies chase after them :).... or just submit docs and itll pass if it looks good enough.

If the details are stealth the checks will fail

If they pass then real details have been used with it way past that little grey line :)

I think it's safe to say (since all the sellers have retired) that doing stealth on managed payments is no longer possible unless as above you are going past a grey line.

If you're a genuine seller with a feasible business you are better off going LTD, new address, get a silent family member on board and use their details.

ohhh a figurative grey line, i thought i was something on the MP screen :)

Do eBay allow multiple MP accounts or just one?, want to know if I can use my real details again with another account..

They will allow multiple MP accts, but they will all be linked as you have to eventually use real id,

I just tried to add a new MP account with my real info, I think it worked but I'm going to be careful just in case
