Withdrawal Issues

Hi guys

Started using a new account (new as in never used it but 12 months old).

Ive today withdrawn some money out of the PayPal account (first time withdrawing money).

When I first attempted to withdraw money it asked me to verify as they don't recognise my computer (strange as Ive always used the same computer and lots of history etc)

So I added a new phone number so they could send me a txt. Once I added the number and went to withdraw it gave me a few extra options which weren't there before such as confirm the credit/debit card, confirm personal info etc.

So I decided to go with confirm credit/debit card details.

I did this and all was good. I withdrew £150 and £125

I few hours later I received a few emails saying funds had cleared. Logged into PayPal and went to withdraw a further £250. Its not asking me again to confirm details but this time I only have the option of phone confirmation, txt or a phone call from PayPal.

As I had already added the new number and they'd sent me a txt to verify the number I clicked on send me a txt however they're still trying to send a txt to the old number (which I no longer have)

Any suggestions as to how to get around this?

Re: Withdrawal Issues

The only option is to wait and try in a few days. Dont keep trying to withdraw as you may get limited.

Ive withdrawn some money today again. Same scenario. Asked me to verify however this time I had option to enter card details again

Re: Withdrawal Issues

It takes 3/4 days for the new number to be a textable option

I would give it a week though and you may well even bypass the text requirement all together

i'd suggest the answer is so obvious in your entire question??
RED FLAG is all your actions
new 12 months old acc...
first time ever used to withdraw..
sums of 150 and 125, then 250..
