No hold on new account?
 

The first transaction had a hold which was for 3.99, the rest from 4-11 came through with no hold, im talking over 30 transactions now.

Whats going on?

account is verified with everything but receiving EU limit thing (submitted ID etc)

Has been reports of this for some time. Off hand I think from mid-November.

The pluses, that I see, are the lower value AND the fact you are verified.

yeah its happening on some new accounts but not all of them. I have made few accounts and they held 1st few transaction for 3-5 days after that they are not holding any payments. love it!

If you get lucky this will happen sometimes

Just be careful as the holds can still come back if you start getting a lot more money into the account

That's too true - also can come back if you potentially risky buyers or you're selling different items, risky or not.

All true...however I've also realised funds can start to be held if unsual amount of cases or negative feedback increases on ebay. If account has smooth steady running, gradually increasing funds happy days for everyone! They don't really give a s*** about anyone no more...

For me it seems to only be smaller payments that don't have holds. Anything over £15 has still been held
