Routing Code 2500EURO Limit - Changing out PayPal accounts
 

Seems like this would be a common question but I cannot find it through search.

An account is nearing it's 2500 euro yearly limit but I don't have the documents necessary for verification. (I'm from AUS, not the UK. I created a few accounts when I was in the UK)

Is it possible to create a new Aus PayPal account and attach it to the existing eBay UK account before it hits the limits?

You can do that, but sooner or later the UK PayPal would get limited. That would then, usually after a few weeks, cause any other PayPal accounts the same eBay is linked to to also get limited.

Do you know if UK PayPal will accept documents from another country?

So my Australian license will match my UK PayPal only with:
- Name
- DOB

Do you know how I can get myself out of this hole?

if the UK paypal has not triggered the docs request yet, then you could stop using it and add your Aus paypal instead to the ebay.

If the UK paypal has already triggered docs request, or if you want to keep using it and lift limits, then you can submit docs, but it would need to be your Aus passport along with a bank or utility bill from UK, which matches the UK address on file. DL contains your Aus address, so is not as good.....

Overseas ID is fine

Proof of address does need to be from the UK though

I have supplied my Australian Passport and UK utility bill for one of my accounts which is already limited (earnt over 2500 euros). I will let you know of the results and if I get that UK PayPal back

Good news! PayPal has reviewed my uploaded docs and permanently limited it.

Onto the next one :)

That's a very opertmistic sentence to say after a limitation!
