PayPal Account

Hello,

I have been permanently limited various times in the last 2 years. I was underage then and I've just turned 18 in September. Is it possible for me to create a new account with my original details and correct date of birth as before I just put any date of birth to become over 18. Would they link it for any reason. Any advice would be grateful.

Thanks

Re: PayPal Account

rather than lose another account why not just go complete stealth?

Re: PayPal Account

Start fresh. All new info, new IP, new Windows user account. Repeat a few times so you have a few back up accounts. Start making money.

I can understand why you would want to do this but it probably is not going to be possible with a permanent ban on your name. However with that said what is the harm?

Call Paypal and ask them!

You will obviously get the CS rep who will not be able to help you but take your time and tell them your story. I would include what a dumb thing it was and how you wish you hadn't done it blah blah blah... and when the CS rep says there is nothing they can do respectfully ask for their supervisor.

Keep in mind paypal DOES NOT have a policy that mandates they route you to their supervisor. The CS reps may well ask a belligerent person if they want to speak to the supervisor concerning the issue they just spoke to you about in which case they will say NO!

The approach that I find usually gets me through is, "I understand that you have done all you are authorized to do to help me and I really appreciate your time with that. Perhaps you can put me through to your supervisor and maybe they will have some more latitude or a suggestion on another course of action I can take."

The magic words that you want to hear are, "I can escalate this to the resolutions department" They are the ones that make these determinations. Once the supervisor escalates it you will get a message in your messaging section of Paypal where you can upload certain information. I would suspect they would want your drivers license and a utility bill at the min.

I also usually type out an explanation and upload it in PDF since this is the only correspondence you will personally get with Paypals resolution department.

I hope some of this helps........
