paypal withdrawal returned?
 

anyone experienced this over last few days that withdrawals being returned to pp balance?

heard off a few other folk they had exact same issue, so hoping just a pp error?

Yes I had it, I have retried to see if it happens again, have to wait until the 72hrs is up before I know.

When I looked at the details on PP it seems it was refused by the bank(uaccount in this case)

yes i have. and when the monies been returned the paypal account got permanently limited.

If withdrawal fails again, I will spend the cash instead of withdraw can't afford a limitation

please check resolution centre. you will prob have a limitation there. id try to spend it asap tbh.

If that happened, they have very serious concerns about your account. Spend the money from it and avoid withdrawal attempts in the nearest time, say, a month.

Second attempt and it went through!

I have now made a second withdrawal, I will probably spend a fair bit of the money between now and when the 72hrs are up, in case it happens again

uuuffff thank god. at least youve got your money. in my experience when the money gets stuck like that the account is normally limited. the worst of it is that PP dont even tell you.

the one and only time this happened to me I was limited with a negative balance until the withdrawal failed. They told me I severely broke a paypal policy by removing paypal from the ebay account. In this circumstance I understand why they did it but it also means that a human being was watching my account and that was very surprising.

just an update on this.....

after having the first withdrawal returned after 48 hrs and re processing it checked my emails and it landed no problems

account is around 4 month old, had this twice now (selling non risk items) second time of processing the witdraw it lands.

also would like to note im using uaccount so unsure if its maybe them having the issue with mismatch??

surely not tho as i have 8 accs with uacc and withdrawing to them regularaly, but seems this one with 2 rejects (one for 700£ this one for £1300) not sure if amount or what not im not sure,

anyway, got the money in end....just withdrew another 1000 from same account so see how this goes, this has been my busiest month on the account taking in 6000 (fees etc included for both pp & ebay)

also noticed i purchased two items and they got placed under a 24 hr investigation to make sure it was really me....(they passed)

One account of mine is having withdrawals returned
,hopefully it's nothing more than a glitch.

It's possibly the amounts being relatively large on a new ish account. Have you recently added the uaccount?

I had the same issue around 9 months ago. I was trying to withdraw £1k and it was returned to balance within minutes, called PayPal numerous times without success until one rep told me to keep all withdrawals under £500 as this flags the withdraw. Withdrew £450 x2 and then the rest and had no problems.
