Switching email addresses
 

My girlfriend and I have paypal accounts but when listing I used her email address. Now payments are going to her paypal account but it is not linked to a bank account.

Can I remove the email address and add it to my paypal account to make sure money from auctions ending tomorrow goes into mine? And can I send the money already there across without problems?

I hear horror stories everywhere and cant afford to get suspended or anything!

No. A selling account in the UK is meant to have a fully verifed paypal account attached to it so that will include a bank account. Have you been
suspended B4 & made this new account?

THanks, my selling account does have my verified paypal account attached to it but I entered my gfs email address incorrectly into turbo lister so payments are going there. What can I do?

the two accounts are linked now, just remove the email address you dont want and add your own, but if one accounts gets suspended the other may be looked at too, depends on a range of factors though, eg. same address or not ips etc.

Try not to worry , the link is made but no harm may come of it necessarily.

Thanks for your help, ill remove the email address from hers and add to my paypal and payments should land in there hopefully with no problems. Ive withdrawn money from my account to my bank and that has been pending since last night, how long should it stay at pending? Im sure in the past its been a pretty quick thing to change to completed...

Whoa! This is just the sort of activity that raises flags with paypal. Think of it: paypal sees a change of email address money transfer and they will wonder what is going on. If it is a big amount of money expect the worst.

Thats what I was concerned about. Ive deleted the email address from my gf's paypal but havent added it to mine yet, just transfered £40 across and withdrawn £50. Its still showing as pending from last night and wasnt sure how long it would stay at that before it either said completed or problems started....

Mine normally takes 24 hours, sometimes a little more. It's very possible you might get limited for this though.
