hi, i have made a few new paypal accounts that are not verified yet..
whenever i click on view your account limits it used to tell you how much you had remaining before you needed to verify to lift limits.. on my new accounts thats all blank now aswell as the reset date being blank aswell ..
is this happening for other people on new accounts as i always waited until it was near its limit before verifying but now i dont know when its near its limit

Known issue.

Yes its happening to all other UK accounts (not sure about outside of UK).

Presumably they want everyone to hit soft limits before submitting anything.

Its happening across the EU (as far as I am aware)

Hot the £1650 mark and they will ask you to upload everything

It may only be this way for a few days but it may well just be the new permeant way that PayPal want to review accounts.

why would they need to leave the limits blank though so you dont even know when your gonna hit the limit..

When you receive around £1,650 they'll start emailing you, reminding you your nearing your limit.

Once you exceed roughly £2,200, they'll start restricting your account.

Just keep a tab on it yourself if you need to.

I am having exactly the same problem, previous to this the limits used to go when creating accounts and uploading docs now the limits are there in the background but not visible until you hit the £1650 figure.

yes bank account verified and card verified, ive just not uploaded any docs yet

Same here, it's all changed in the past 2 weeks... Previously when i opened a PayPal and uploaded the docs confirmed a bank etc limits would be lifted within 30 seconds/minute so it was obviously computer generated.

Now with the £1650 limit its definitely a member of staff looking into the docs which is worrying for the future of stealth PayPal accounts!

ive always found once you received 1650 i think it s that much, cant remember.. they will email you and tell you your nearing your limit but you could always see how much left you had to go before hitting the 2200 mark.. now they dont show you anymore.. for the last couple weeks they havent anyway... why do you think that is?

do you think its a permanent change or do you think they,ll bring it back to show you what the limit is left

Only PayPal knows why they have done it

I expect its to reduce their work load

It may last a few may days. It may last forever. Its just a guess at the moment we just don't know

Can anyone confirm that EU limits still reset annually, even though the limits page is gone?
