New PayPal account won’t let me withdraw and Not limited
 

Hello, hope someone can help. Basically I have a new PayPal account which I’m trying to withdraw funds from, first time everything was ok. This is my second attempt trying 5% of actual balance in the account. First it says please provide additional information and takes me to the classic withdrawal page. Once there I enter a lower amount and click ok, then the page just refreshes but nothing happens. Tried another lower amount and still same - very confused as account is fine no limited or anything etc.

It could well just be a bug on the PayPal system

Give it 24 hours and try again

If that still doesn't work then wait 24 hours again, clean out your cookies and try again

I have the exact same problem. Called PayPal and they said security had put the account under review. They said they had placed an override and it would work in the morning. Tried this morning same problem. Call PayPal again and was told it could take 24 hours.

Did you get it sorted zamzam?

I personally wouldn't keep phoning up Paypal about this issue. It only attracts attention to the account that you don't really want (as it is stealth).

These "withdrawal" problems are fairly common on new accounts. In all cases the withdrawals go through eventually. All it needs is a little bit of patience.

Tried this morning and withdrawal went through OK. It is going to take 72 hours but that is normal for a new account. Thanks again for the advise.
