Pay Pal Release Amount?????
 

Hello everyone,

So i've had this account since December 2014. Its been running smoothly ever since then.

However last night i got an email saying you are close to your release limit, which is 17,500 per month.

When did they incorporate this bull ****?

Do you think when i opened it back in 2014 they stuck this release amount on instantly.

Just phoned Pay Pal he said your account is doing brilliantly he doesn't understand why the release amount is there.

The account is a business account and in my brothers real name.

Not totally sure what you mean, but it sounds like a rolling limit?

You’re nearing the amount immediately available to you from sales each month. Any payments received above £17,500.00 GBP will be held for 21 days. If there are no issues with your orders, the money will be automatically released after 21 days.

You can easily request that more money is available to you sooner. We'll also periodically adjust this amount to match your business growth. But if business is a little slower one month, the amount available to you won’t be reduced.

If you request an increase, we usually can give you an instant decision. However, in some cases, it can take up to 3 business days. You can request an increase once every 30 days.

The agent said its been on the account since November.

Its just a rolling limit

It can happen to an account

They tend to go away after a few months
