Paypal release after 180 if the docs was accepted previously?
Hi,
I am reading a lot of posts here that people are not able to get the money back from paypal after 180 days because they refuses the stealth ID or even the real IDs.
It is about UK Paypal.
My situation looks as following:
-I had a paypal which was inactive for few months and it was without the 21 payment holds
-I started trading 30 days ago, after 20 days the requested docs because of receiving limits, however the docs were uploaded few months ago (when the account was created). I had to call them and ask them to have a look at this, that it was uploaded a lot of time ago - it was UK Driving Licence and Proof of Address (bill)
-They accepted the docs and restored my account
-after next few days they permanently limited my account without giving formal reason - on the phone they said that it might be because buyers opened a lot disputes. In the email which i received is:
"We regret to inform you that we're initiating the closure of your PayPal account because of certain activity that took place relating to your account. This measure is necessary to protect us from potential financial losses."
In case of the money they said:
" Our first review at 30 days from the date of this email will calculate our exposure and we'll release any excess funds to you at that time for withdrawal. We'll communicate this to you at the time. This review can result in 3 different outcomes as detailed in sub-sections 2(1)-(3) below"
And they said:
"Your account may be reviewed up to 5 times; at 30 day intervals until day 180 from the date of this email. If any money remains in your account at day 180 it will be made available for withdrawal at that point." So is there anyone who had a similar situation to mine? The main question is if they will require to re-upload the docs? Will they accept the same driving licence which was updated previously or there is a chance that it will go smoothly without docs requesting because these was accepted before?
Thank you
