UK Paypal Business Help
 

Hello everyone i joined the forums to seek advice..i'm a travel agent and i have paypal as my business payment processor as it is free and easy..as i am a small business ideally my plan was to get the payments via paypal so i can withdraw/send them to my bank to make the bookings pretty fast with my suppliers..however ive realised that may not be the case..

my paypal is a stealth, all verified as far as am aware in a stealth name as a limited company..as i was banned from ebay some years ago and paypal..

i set up a ebay whilst my travel business has been quiet and ave made some sales linked to the paypal on that (got around 26 feedback)..today however i booked a big celeb a holiday for 3k..i went to withdraw the money and it let me but says the bank transfer is pending..ive had to temporarily cover the holiday with my supplier on a credit card..

am i really stupid here or will this always happen? (the bank holds) i looked around and it does seem airlines use paypal

In all seriousness though it depends on the age of that stealth paypal and how many withdrawals you've had previously and the amounts that have gone through it (both receiving/sending and withdrawing money). I'm guessing 3k is a big step up so that's why it shows as pending. If everything is fine then it'll go through within 72 hours. If it doesn't they may limit you and your money will be held for 180 days. You'll have to wait and see.

hello account is about 1 year old, used on ebay, withdrawed ebay funds, paid ebay done a few things on it..and the celeb i do holidays for are the geordie shore celebs such as gaz and also bbc three's chabuddy g (your lower level UK reality celeb stars.)

I'm just unsure if to switch to square completely they take 2.5% but its withdrawing the funds and the processing time that'll kill me.

It's been 48 hours now and still pending, I may call paypal and see what they say.

If there aren't any links to other limited PayPals basically then you should be okay I'd say. Let us know how it goes.

hey everyone so i rang paypal explained the situation..ie need to pay my supplier..money cleared 9 hours later..no limitation yet..the woman said a 24 hr hold is normal..am i safe?
