Paypal Limitation
 

Hey everyone,

I recently opened a new account which was going all smooth, and got ID'd before the usual cut off point (I think it is something like 2500 EUR). I provided it which passed as normal.

I sold some more until I got the email warning saying I am approaching the 2500 amount and need to provide ltd company information. I read on another thread I need to change this to a Sole trader and it will all go through fine. I done so, and now it appears with the message "thanks we will be in contact within a few working days".

I left it for a week and had no response back from them. I went to disable all my listings so this can be sorted before I get limited but unfortunately it was too late and I hit the threshold. I went into the resolution centre and it still states all documents have been provided and "they will get back in a few working days".

I have a feeling I have glitched it out and they are actually never going to get back to me. Any advice on what I should do from here? I am thinking about calling them, as I tried to email them but just got an automated response.

Replying to the automated response will result in it being forwarded to a real person.

Didn't think to do it at first as it says at the bottom that the inbox is not monitored.

Reply to the message in the message center - not to the email. Apologies, should have made that clearer.

Once I had same situation, docs were uploaded before I got the limitation. Then, after they put the limitiation I had the message 'we have all information, we will contact you soon' - they never contacted. I gave them a call, they accepted the docs and restored my account, however after few days they permanently limited the account, without any reason.
