About remove PayPal EU receiving limit.

After uploading the documents,how long have to wait?What is the current pass rate?

I uploaded the documents last week,still is "We'll get back to you within a few working days."

Have you hit the £1650 limit or the limit around £2300?

Paypal email:

To comply with regulations, we're required to collect and verify information about our customers. We must do this before you receive €2,500 (or currency equivalent) into your PayPal account (in total) within a year of you receiving your first payment.

As you have received €1,800 (or currency equivalent), we encourage you to provide this information now. In doing so, you'll still be able to use your PayPal account to send or withdraw money as normal.


I'm afraid PayPal will reject documents,now I have stopped business,no money coming in,just left a little money in PayPal.Normally how long have to wait?what about the pass rate?

Which european country we are talking about?

For example in France it takes 1 - 2 weeks, but sometimes I contact them on Facebook (using a stealth Facebook account with the same info on the PayPal account); they usually respond to my case the next working day.
It's best to stop any activity on the account, in case documents got rejected you won't lose much.

NB: when you hit the 2500 EUR limit, you may get a faster response than if you're still in 1800-2500 EUR.

I sent them the required docs today, and then boom limited. Now I got to provide them with business info and invoices. Any advice looks like the end is near :(

Documents you've sent are yours or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ docs?
Do you have a registred business?

I'm not a registered business, the first documents I gave were made up which was to get rid of my receiving limit as soon as this happened I got limited. They want Business Information, Supplier Information and invoices.

It's a stealth account

I believe that the quality of your "made up" docs didn't make it through the verification process.

What kind of Business information they are asking for?
I suppose that you have a Business PayPal account, is it a sole Proprietorship/trader or another form of business?

The biggest question here now is, how much the account worth for you? do you have any money blocked in it?

Because It's gonna be hard to restore an account in such a situation, It's up to you to see if it worths the fight or not.

Otherwise, you can move on and create other accounts and learn from your previous experiences.

No it's not a business account just a regular premier account, Just general information as in Business Name, Business Address, What type of business ? Well if the documents didn't pass I'm sure they would of just closed the account ? However this isn't the case they want more information now. I think they're asking for this type of information because sales did step up a bit. Invoices I can sort just not sure what to say about the business bit since I don't own a business.

It won't stay restored for long if a Paypal rep reads your post. How many people of that name do you think have had their accounts restored in the last 24 hours??? :doh::doh::doh:

I received the same email from paypal yesterday. Not sure if I am lucky, ai have entered my name, address, DOB and all have passed. They did not ask me to send any documents.

Impossible.

No ID check and you have passed the £1650 receiving limit ? Have you already provided docs for something else in the past ?

Not impossible, you can pass this check easy if the details you enter match the electoral role. Not really great for stealth though 

I submitted my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ docs and it was passing 30+days with “we’ll get back to you...” so I called in and asked, they said we’ll get back to you in 48 hours.


And then I was permanently limited.

As what I experienced recently.
if the passing is ok,you normally get this passed in 5 days and you won't get email.the limit just gone once you log into your account.
if the they don't lift it after 5 days from your upload.even you don't get a notice,but this account still pretty much totalled.

Just my experience.
