PayPal asked for more information after passing first Id requirments
 

Hi all,

So after reaching £1200 on PayPal I was asked to provide Id which I did and passed . Then I continued selling only to get another account limitation from PayPal that says ‘ we’ve noticed some significant changes to your account activity. To help keep you and the PayPal community secure, we need more information to understand how these changes affect your business’ . My PayPal was never business it’s always been personal but my eBay I did change to business at some point . PayPal have asked to provide photo id and business information or provide supplier information and provide invoice. Please help what I should do here as I don’t even have a business to be providing business information .

Call them up and try to sort it out with an agent - you might have faster action that ways, explaining that you don't have a business

Call em. Try not to use your actual number unless thats what you listed.

Ive found that once they start asking these questions, they are just screwing with you and intend on limiting your account. They like to waste your time because it doesnt affect them in any way but does affect your ability to transfer funds.

If you cant get past the ID and all that, just call it a loss unless youre able to do all that easily.

Like I said, Ive tried giving them everything theyve asked for and its NEVER enough. Or they let it go for a few days til you get more sales then they limit you Just my experience

Send the photo ID along with your invoice(s). For the "provide business information", send a word document / pdf stating you operate as a sole trader and trade from your home address.

Is there anything unusual about this? The reason I ask is I have bought \ setup 7 accounts without issue. A few days ago I had exactly the same thing on a new account. Passed ID then got the same message "we’ve noticed some significant changes blah blah blah". I supply the information and I got the parting ways e-mail. I am just wondering if anything has changed at PayPal or is this something that happens sometimes on new accounts?

Could you please specify which "more information" they requested from you?

Hi you need to provide them receipt of products you selling.its normally happens when you sell few items in personal account.They normally ask where you buy them?plus you have to tell them that you are not business seller.normally once you provide them receipts they remove the limitations straight way.thanks

how u pass id info in the first case and u provided info only no photo id ??
