Perfect working paypal - can i link to new ebay account
 

Hi guys,

heres what i want to do:

I bought an ebay and paypal account to start as stealth, the paypal account hit its 2,500 limit. So i sent x2 ids. Which didnt work. So paypal closed my stealth paypal.

My ebay is still in good condition so i unlinked the bad paypal one. I then changed the user id and email address on ebay.

What my question is: Can i link an old paypal account which was connected to an old ebay limited account by changing the paypal email address? - and link it to a new ebay stealth account. (by changing the email address, ebay shouldnt know that that paypal has been used to an old ebay limited account.

That's not a good idea, its an easy link and wont work long term.

Ideally you start again with a new ebay/paypal combo.

You will not face any instant comeback as such and may even be able to sell for a while, but their system will add the other eBay ID to its internal list of potentially associated accounts and this is what leads to an equal infraction being applied, where your account faces review and they identify a strong link between them. This can be either by the automated system or Trust & Safety.

As just_smile said, it is not something to risk for the long-term and is a textbook way that they can match the two together.

You are better off starting fresh, as there is no black or white answer. You could manage to sell without a problem, sell with a nearby suspension or not be able to sell at all.
