Withdrawal Declined by my bank
 

Withdraw 1.5k from a stealth account the other day and once it hit my bank that I use for that account they declined it as I'm limited to 1k per day into that account which I forgot about. Previously I had successfully withdrew 200, 400 and then 750.

My question is now that the bank are reverting the payment back to the sender will paypal see that the name on the bank account doesn't match the paypal account or what will happen? Since it's just been declined does it work differently than me sending money from my bank to paypal as I know if I did this paypal would definitely see the name on the account.

There shouldn't be any long term issues that arise from it so try not to worry.

Since it being declined it never hit your bank account meaning the funds being returned are not coming from your bank account and are not pulling the name of the account holder.
Should be fine.

From read info it looks like Paypal doesn't have access to bank account holder name? Mean I can attach bank with different owner compare to PP acc and it will pass?
Isn't PP sends small transaction to bank and you should send them back code-text included to that payment before bank acc will be approved? And don't they have access to bank account holder name at this case?

The money actually hit my bank account though but was over my daily limits which I forgot about and it was instantly returned by the bank then. This was on the 11th December and the money is still not back in my paypal.

I've contacted my bank to see if they have more info on how they sent the money back. I know it can take 30 days but it does seem like it should be back in my stealth paypal already. I'm thinking the fact that my bank account is my real name and the paypal is a stealth name is causing some issue?

I'm done with that paypal now anyway so wouldn't be risking anything by calling up other than a 180 day wait for my money if they do return it but see that it's from a different name than what's on the paypal.

Thoughts?

you just said your done with PP anyways so uh who give a flying fook if they see your name or not... if it got reversed then give it atleast a week before calling...

It's been 26 days. I tried calling but was on hold 30 mins and gave up so popped them an email instead.

Called and they said they'd need to initiate a trace on the money......

you can add any other name bank.no issue for that.

which bank you added?
it is virtual bank?
